KGEM invites you to come out and join us at the Library Grand Opening this Saturday May 16th, featuring an in person dedication by legendary American author Ray Bradbury.
The dedication ceremony will begin at 10am in front of the new Library on Myrtle. Be sure to bring your kids out to the spelling bee from 11 to 1pm.
Ray Bradbury will be speaking at 3:30pm.
The Library will be open for book checkout and computer use all day until five pm.
This is a once in a lifetime chance to meet Ray, a legend of American literature and be the first to check out his work from our new library. The library will also be screening his film works inside the building throughout the day.
KGEM will be taping the entire event. Look to our KGEM television schedules page to find out when it will be airing both on the channel and online through our video stream.
Looking forward to seeing you on t.v. there,
Lance Mungia
Interim Executive Director
